Mix It Up Contest
Graphic made by the magmarxcellent Frozen Soldier!The end of June brings with it another contest for us, and we're all so excited to be getting started on this one! With the additional help of our guest judges vbfb1 and SeeMyEvil, as well as our 2 new staff earthprincess4 and ThaigherLillie, we were able to scrounge together enough people to get this site moving again!! Our Previous Challenge winner, the beautiful CaraNo, had this brilliant idea for this month's contest!
Contest Theme:
A trait exchange, or a personality swap! What if your least favorite character had the personality of the one you loved, and vice versa?
For instance: (only suggestions)
Edward - with his southern drawl and history in the army.
Rosalie- the goofy, lovable character.
Emmett - the pianist loving Debussy.
Carlisle - the hyper, shopping obsessed psychic.
Bella - with her green eyes and broody personality.
Esme- the doctor.
Rules:
-One-shot.
-Minimum of 4,000 words (Without Author's notes).
-Maximum of 15,000.
-Stories can be written in any POV (or a specific character's POV).
-Alternate Universe, All Human, Vamp, No Vamp, it's all allowed.
-Any Pairing.
-Collaborations are allowed.
-No more than 2 entries per person.
-Lemons are not required, although they are acceptable.
-Slash (of any sort) is accepted.
-Previously written One-shots are not allowed.
-Entries should not be continued until the duration of the contest is complete.
-We will post your story links HERE, and you have time until Friday July 22, 2011 11:59 PM PST, to enter your entry.
-NO abuse/incest/pedophilia/bestiality, etc. Submissions will be banned at the discretion of the monitors.
-No actual scenes of rape or sexual assault may be featured. However, if you wish to have a character recovering from or having been assaulted in their past, it will be allowable.
-We reserve the right to add and/or change these rules at any time.
-To submit your entry simply fill out our CONTEST ENTRY FORM in the right hand column (over there -->).

Winners will receive a personalized banner (created by the amazing FrozenSoldier), bragging rights, story promotion, as well as the opportunity to pick out the next theme for our contest!!
PUBLIC VOTING for the One-shot entries will be determined through a poll on the FWC on Sunday July 24, 2011- Sunday July 31, 2011 to determine the winners. Our panel of judges will also critique the one-shot submissions to provide any additional awards. (Number of winners will be determined based off of the number of entries) Winners will be announced Tuesday August 2, 2011.
We have a new feature coming out called 'Inspirations' so if you're hoping to get some inspiration for a story be on the look out as we'll be providing some thought producing pictures.
