Pick A Pic Winners
The thought that was circling through the judge’s minds during the voting process was:
‘So much talent and so little time!’
We were all blown away from the response to this idea (we started the contest with 50 followers & it has now raised to an amazing 87!!) and we couldn’t have pulled it off without the help of the fabulous ladies over at TwiFicPics. If you have yet to explore their site then I urge you to do so! They offer so many helpful hints and tutorials as well as help shine the spotlight on all the talent behind the captivating pictures to go along with the fics that we read.
Now for the contest, I know how eager everyone is! First was the public vote. With an astounding response of 319 voters, we were able to compile the list of our winners. There was a tie in the Public Vote as well as the Judge’s Choice so we will list those alphabetically. If you are interested in knowing what the public voting results were you can access them by CLICKING HERE.

A Note on The Banners:
Please do not post a banner to your story and/or profile without getting the artist's permission first.
There will only be 1 personalized copy of a banner if it was won by a writer in the writing challenge (or 2 banners in the case that 2 writers win with a story based off the same banner). The list of winning banners can be found over at TwiFicPics. Winners / Artists Revealed
However, there are only 8 winners and over 100 banners. Any of the other banners that were not won are up for a free-for-all. If you are a writer who did not win a banner, it is your responsibility to contact the artist to see if they are interested in personalizing it for you.
If you need the contact information for an artist, you can email contest@twificpics.com. Please let them know which artist you need in the email for and for which banner.
Please be aware that more than one person may have written a story based off the same banner. It is up to the artist’s discretion whether they wish to personalize a banner for more than 1 story.
I’d like to thank each and everyone of you! Whether you voted, spread the word, wrote an entry, made a banner, loved the idea, etc. just know that you are very much appreciated! This contest wouldn’t have been nearly the success that it was without you all.
One quick announcement! The theme for our next contest is illusions, so get thinking on that and come join us when it posts in February!
